Polar is delighted to announce the appointment of Hermann Deres as its new Chief Financial Officer

London, UK, August 2025 – Polar is delighted to announce the appointment of Hermann Deres as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Hermann brings more than 15 years of experience in leveraged finance and CFO leadership, with a strong track record of scaling capital-intensive, private equity-backed companies. Most recently, he served as CFO at Germany’s largest senior living real estate platform, where he oversaw a €1.8 billion development pipeline across more than 60 entities.

At Polar, Hermann will lead financial strategy, capital raising, and the development of corporate functions to drive the execution of the company’s pan-European AI data center pipeline.
