Our Mission
Andy has over 20 years of global data centre experience, leading major capacity programmes and end-to-end project delivery. With a background in engineering and senior roles across data centre operations, construction, and consulting, he has led teams from land acquisition through development. At Polar, he is focused on driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
Tom is an experienced executive with over 20 years in the data centre sector and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Polar. He oversees all aspects of technical delivery, service operations, and ESG across the full infrastructure lifecycle. Tom is known for driving operational excellence, customer-centric strategies, and sustainable growth.
Hermann is a private equity-backed CFO and former Investment Banker at Deutsche Bank, with over 15 years of experience managing and advising portfolio companies. As Chief Financial Officer at Polar, he is responsible for financial strategy and operations, capital raising, and scaling corporate functions to strengthen governance and drive growth.
Paul joined Polar in May 2025 with 17+ years of real estate experience, focused on large-scale data center projects across Europe. He leads site acquisition, development, and early-phase permitting, and is active in capital markets and transactions, leveraging his strong industry network. Previously, he led real estate at CyrusOne and advised major European projects at CBRE.
Simon has 30+ years of experience in data centre and telecoms operations. He joined Polar in 2024, focusing on reliability and performance of its datacenter portfolio. His expertise covers the full lifecycle of critical facilities, with a global track record in operational best practices A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IET, he brings deep expertise across the full lifecycle of critical facilities.
Ana is a corporate lawyer with broad cross-border experience in M&A, energy, infrastructure, and financial regulation. She advises on strategic transactions, regulatory matters, and legal risk management, with expertise in fintech, real estate, and governance. Ana holds a Master of Corporate Law from the University of Cambridge and is known for her pragmatic, business-focused approach.
Jon has 20+ years of experience in security, compliance, and risk management. He joined Polar in 2025, leveraging his experience in implementing security programs for critical infrastructure across sectors like government, healthcare, finance, and technology, following roles at Interxion and Digital Realty. He holds an MSc in Security and Risk Management and certifications including CISM and ISO standards.
Laurie is a strategic project leader with extensive experience delivering mission-critical data centre design and construction across Europe. Skilled in managing multi-disciplinary teams and aligning stakeholders, he drives complex projects from greenfield developments to live-site upgrades, with a focus on project controls, governance, and risk management.
